           Deep wine red eyes watched his shorter companion curiously, such words coming from her astonishing and even random. He never pegged one of his girls to appear vulnerable or act as such, but seeing as she seemed to trust him above all others, he supposed it shouldn’t come as such a shock. Crowley hummed and took a seat, crossing his ankle as he got comfortable and gave a small jerk of his head to invite her to come sit with him. 

“Lack of confidence is not becoming my dear Chess.” He advised with a smile, but despite how cold his words seemed, there was kindness in his expression. “Come here.” He raised a single hand out to her and continued to speak as he waited for her to inevitably take his hand.

                Hades couldn’t help the indulgent half smile that tugged at his lips as he turned to look at the very person he deem his sun in this world. It wasn’t the first time, flowers appeared in his hair and unlike the first time, he allowed them to take root there and form a crown, gloved hands remaining in his pockets so as not to destroy the lovely gift despite it being created out of her frustration. 

“They truly can be.” He finally murmured in agreement, dark eyes moving to take in her form as he moved closer to her. “That is one consistent thing they have proven over the years, to be stubborn and selfish. Sadly there is no changing them. That is simply how the species somehow thrives.” It was appalling really, knowing how truly twisted the race had become and yet it was impossible to change. You can only motivate a person so much, but if the majority refuses to fall in line, the effort was always wasted. 

“Awwwww, the situation’s just heating up, little girl~” Ferid hummed as his body connected to each other again, groaning and cracking his back with a smile before picking up his weapon with a smile.
