#kindergartennugget

Nugget swings on the swing-set kicking his legs back and forth slightly, he shuffles his deck of monstermon cards in his hands bored. 

He looks up to see what the others are doing and notices Ted standing there. Nugget waves, not knowing why the boy in red would want to approach him. It was rare other people wanted to talk to him. 

“ Hello nice rich boy.”

     For a moment, Ted was drawn towards Nugget as he sat there by himself. He didn’t quite know why-- He wasn’t supposed to be talking to people. But maybe he thought Nugget looked kind of lonely by himself. Bored, even. And that made Ted feel kinda bad. From what he’d seen, not many kids talked to him either.

     Seeing him wave, Ted waved back and plastered a smile on his face.  “ Hello! ”  He greeted. Kind of nice Nugget thought he was nice! At least he had that going for him.
