Ura kinboshi!
Concerning the upcoming basho, please keep this in mind before being too harsh on our shin-yokozuna:
Terunofuji is considered by most to have been a very good yokozuna. His kinboshi giving rate is 22 for a total of 149 bouts fought as a yokozuna, not including fusen. That’s 2.2 per 15. So please don’t hate on our boy, should he drop a kinboshi every basho. Teru gave out an average of 2+ per full 15.
I also looked at the stats for HoshOzeki. His ginboshi rate is at 2.8 per 15. So there is indeed room for improvement.
