How do you plan out and write your long fics, I always run out of steam or forget to write down when im thinking about it
I can’t not begin to tell you how many ideas I’ve had and lost because I didn’t write them down, or they came to me in the middle of the night and I couldn’t be bothered to get up and make a note about them before trying to go back to sleep. XD
Running out of steam is always an issue. There are some days when I’ll just stare at the screen trying to will the words to appear. I have a terrible habit of thinking a scene over like 500 times in dozens of different ways, and then I sit down to finally write it and my brain just blanks out and can’t remember a single detail of it.
I try to kind of push through the blocks. Just get words down and worry about editing/making it sound good later (my usual thought process for NaNo writing XD ). But sometimes taking a day or two just to rest and come back at it later helps.
As for actual planning, I’m a mess. XD I usually start out with a scene, or a handful of scenes, and it’s a matter of trying to string them all together in a way that makes sense and fleshing everything out. I never really learned the whole outlining a plot thing. XD;;;

BreakFunTime2 is about two best friends, Alec and Salem, just trying to live their lives when they get mixed up in a mystery about a missing girl.
Is there something supernatural going on there? Perhaps. I don't seem to be able to write anything without a little magic happening in it. XD
