The PV for “Higurashi: Mei” was revealed, alongside updates to their website, including cast, character names, and staff comments!
The first character is a relative to the Kimiyoshi family, as the introduction described. Her first name is either Ichiho, or Kazuho. Her voice actor is Mayu Sagara (”Love Live!”)
The middle character’s name, as given by her voice actress, Rie Takahashi (”Re:Zero”, “Fate/Grand Order”), is read as Nao Houtani.
It’s confirmed that the right-most character is Miyuki Akasaka, daughter to investigator Mamoru Akasaka. She will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro (”Sword Art Online”, “Noragami”, “No Game No Life”, “Hunter x Hunter”, “Danganronpa”, and more).
The voice actors for the original characters, such as Rena Ryuugu (Mai Nakahara), Mion Sonozaki (Satsuki Yukino), Satoko Houjou (Mika Kanai), Rika Furude (Yukari Tamura), and Keiichi Maebara (Soichirou Hoshi), will be cast again, as previously announced.
“Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Mei” will release on September 3rd!
Pre-registration has started, although unfortunately, the game is not available to those outside of Japan.

According to The 07th Network, the mobile game “Higurashi: Mei” will be released in September!
One person can win the opportunity to receive the autographs from the voice actresses (Mayu Sagara, Rie Takahashi, and Miyuki Sawashiro) playing the three brand new characters!
