She oddly found it hard to focus on certain things these days; one of them being watching shows she would usually enjoy with one of her closest friends. Once in a while, instead of focusing on the show, her gaze dropped down towards her hands to look at her her fingers which were twiddling; a thing she would always do whenever she was stressed or had too many thoughts in her head. Usually, if she was accompanied by someone, Chaeyeong would play with their fingers, talk what was bothering her but after glancing at her friend's direction, seeing how he was focusing on the show, she didn't want to distract him. Besides, she didn't even know where to start. She already felt bad about not giving proper answers when he showed great interest to the show. She only hummed in response, nodded twice and forced a smile on her lips to show she was trying to focus on the show as well. And she was afraid the constant position change was going to start to annoy him at any second.Â
âMmhm.â Another hummed respond slipped out of her mouth. The brunette could already feel a small lump appear in her throat, causing her to swallow harder than expected. Why did she need to feel like that? Everything was going well; she was smiling earlier, she looked genuinely happy but as soon as they sat down on the couch and the show started to play, she felt horrible. And she tried to hide it as best as she could.

June had always been someone who opened up rather easily, her trusting nature leading her to believe there was some good in every single person she met. So much she would naturally feel like she could trust them with her more intimate and suppressed thoughts, this however often led to disappointments and sadness, but she was used to it. Yet even after so many unfortunate and negative experiences, she couldnât stop herself from making the same mistakes over and over. However with the said male, she felt there was a difference. The two got along quite easily, sharing the same kind of humor and throughout their few emotional talks, she had been able to open her heart without the suffocating feeling of having to keep things to herself or having to censor herself from the world. This leading to a natural friendship which she hoped would be a long lasting one.
Though sheâd grown a lot, her negative memories turning into experiences that helped her grow into a more positive and strong-minded female. But even she occasionally reached her limits, after so many painful experiences and so many broken hearts over broken friendships, she had reached the tip of the mountain and could no longer build it up. It had been when her foot slipped, that she fell from the said metaphorical mountain and needed someone to catch her at the very bottom. Joowon was one of the very few she trusted enough for that, and this was the reason he found herself banging on his door at 3 am in the morning, tears streaming down her face nearly as much as the rain was pouring from the sky.Â

[ ⤠] my muse accidentally punches your muse in the face. @kimdevl
To start off, itâs too damn dark.Â
Scattered lightening storms no doubt being the cause of the sudden power outage and Jaxon having been one to get caught in said storm while on his way home from work. Itâs safe to say heâs drenched, dripping from head to toe as he made his way through lobby doors of his rather expensive loftâs residential building. Heâd received a few sympathetic stares from those that had been smart enough to wait out storm in lobbyâs accommodating surroundings that remained light by cell phone and candles alike; others just sticking downstairs because they were fearful of the dark. He probably would have stayed downstairs too had he not two things on his mind. One, being the fact he needed to change clothing from his drenched clothing, and the second being he had TWO kids to check upon upstairs. Â
Ah, upstairs. It became a painful reminder that he needed to climb ten flights of stairs with duffle bag in tow; slung over his shoulder in sloppy manner. Had it not been from the AC being knocked out too, he may have been shivering from the automated breeze, alas, its damn near boiling, as he enters stairwell and he sets off (partially grateful) in a soggy mess upstairs. It doesnât take long, however, not as long as he originally thought after he got a pacing of taking two steps at time(something heâs going to regret with soreness come morning time).  Now, Jaxon isnât one to grow fearful, at least not when he knew the difference between reality and the more âsupernaturalâ aspect of things â yet, when he hears a noise coming from other side of door of loft door heâs feeling a bit reluctant to twist key into lock and proceed inside. Heâd  seen a video like this once, had he not? A part of him understands itâs better to face oneâs fears rather run from them, while the other part was more or less debating leaving aegi and deul to fend for themselves. Alas, heâs won over by reason, an that burning desire to get out of wet clothing, and finds himself opening door with a subtle click of lock.Â
He nearly jumps out of his skin when calico kitten, barely past his ankles, slips by him with a soft meow. It doesnât take long for him to come to conclusion itâd been aegi scratching at doorway; no doubt alerted to his arrival home and not some strange being heâd probably have to sell his first born to in order to survive. ââŚshit.. aegiâŚ. what the fuck..â  she doesnât seem to mind the fact sheâd almost killed her second owner upon his arrival home, because the kitten seems satisfied with his (near-death)entry and scampers off once more to do âkittenâ things. ââŚI swear, she does it on purpose ââ he mumbles, more or less grumbling at the fact he almost had a heart attack and coming to realization that he needed to lay off the horror related themes for a while if he was going to live a peaceful life. â one down⌠one more to go..â uncharacteristic softness in his tone granted as dark orb scan into nearly pitch black loft searching for familiarity with a forming hum in his throat. nearly kicking off his shoes at entry point and shutting door behind him, nimble digit reach for mobile in order to illuminate a little more light in front of his now weary steps.Â

â Iâm sure you will, youâre so close to getting it perfect already. â The two young adults were playing a game together, and trying to beat the high score and getting the level perfect. Deulâs attempts kept failing, and so, seeing as the girl was much better than him in this game, he had given her the controller and let her get the high score instead. Luckily for him, she was totally into it, and seemingly refused to give up before getting a perfect score. How lucky was he? Cheating his way to the top in order to gain points for his game.
â If you donât get it perfect and you die, you owe me a piece of chocolate. â
Though she enjoyed playing them, video games were a luxury Chanmi could rarely make time for. She was always busy at schedules, doing performances, preparing for comebacks, thus the life of an idol. The game the male was playing though was one Chanmi had played for a good few years and had gotten pretty damn good at it, after all puzzles were her area of expertise and so she had confidence in her skills of helping the male reach his goal of new high score, though the noise of the arcade was very distracting.Â
âWait... Why do I owe you chocolate? When did this become a part of the deal?!â

â Â Singing them to sleep.
Minjun had gotten quite used to watching horror movies by this point as several of his friends preferred the darker kinds of movies which would normally make Minjunâs skin crawl. But this time, the movie had been on a whole other level and the amount of blood in the first scened had nearly been enough to make him ask the younger to turn it off, but not wanting to sound like a coward he had quietly sat through it all with a look of disgust written all over his face. When the movie had ended and it was time for sleep, the former idol struggled to get the images out of his head. He could imagine how the flesh of the body was cut open and how the blood came flowing out, nearly black, and he moved once more, trying out to sleep on his side instead. Deul mustâve noticed him because soon he could swear that he heard him sing, very quietly but still audible for his ears. He had never heard the boy sing before, and it wouldnât be an exaggeration if he were to compare his voice to what he imagined an angelâs voice would sound like. He tried to stay awake now, just to hear him sing more, but something about his voice made him incredibly tired, exhausted, and he soon drifted away.
(starter for @kimdevl)
ââ âŻÂ It wouldnât be the first time the boys would meet, not the second or third, but Minjun could still not let go of the overwhelmingly nervous feeling he had as he drove to his house. With music blasting loudly in the car speakers, his current favorite song, he tried to sing along, to calm his nerves and to quiet down his thoughts, to make them near inaudible so that he wouldnât be a complete wreck when he arrived, he knew that wouldnât be very appreciated. After all, he wasnât going there to get comfort, he knew better than to seek comfort with Deul, and he had several other friends he could visit for that mere purpose, but not today, he would manage today.Â
During their short friendship, if he could even call it that, Chris had already learnt that it was best not to think so deeply of every event, to take things lightheartedly and to never expect anything and most importantly, to be patient. There would be days, weeks where he would hear nothing from the man and at first he had been frustrated at his behavior, but eventually he had grown accustomed to it and now, he was satisfied with only enjoying the moments when he would actually hear from him, and more so, the times when they would be able to hang out.Â
It was outside a club that Chris had first seen Deul, he was trying to get people to go inside, especially pretty and single girls, however, it seemed like he did not have to put any effort at all into making them flood around him and with his guidance, go inside the club. He had understood immediately why he was so good at what he was doing, Deul had been breathtakingly handsome, but besides that, there was something else that drew him to the man, and he wasnât exactly sure what it was then, and he still hasnât figured it out.Â
As he arrived outside the apartment, he moved one of the plastic bags containing bottles of tequila to his other hand that was already holding a bag with one of Deulâs sweaters, hesitating only momentarily before pressing his finger against the doorbell, his bottom lip sucked in as he bit down on it in an act to numb the slight nervousness.Â
