Here's my 115kg / 254lbs #deadlift from yesterday again - but just the end. I drop the weight and immediately just lean on the rack behind me so I don't fall down. This is what we rarely see. This is brutally HARD work. This was a nosebleed set. I was tired AND I was sore before I started lifting, from the previous day's training. I felt like my arms were being ripped off, like my back was just shredding apart. That's what this kind of work takes. But it's also some of the most rewarding work I've ever done. It's not for everyone and that's good - we are meant to do different things. But don't for a second think that just because you're not a lifter or athlete that you can't push yourself this hard or acheive results like I have or achieve whatever your goals are. Two years ago I had never touched a barbell. I did this. You can too. It's tough. It's brutally tough.
