He hums serenely, hallelujah heavens tucked into the ribs of his throat, when he crosses the space between them with hands tucked behind his back and an easy gait (long legs edging off the gap in one, two, three steps).

Bending over the arm of the couch and gently placing pliable lips to the smooth porcelain of Eight’s eyelids, he lets out a laugh that bubbles and brims (gentle, teasing, never full of misplaced malice).
