// I think the Zones are really diverse. There are so many there who are gay, straight, bi, pan, poly, ace, and other sexualities. Iâve seen cisgender, transgender, male, female, genderfluid, nonbinary, and other genders.
Iâve seen people of different races, body types, ages, styles and so much more.
The Zones say fuck you to gender roles and stereotypes, and theyâre all accepting. Youâre a straight guy and you love pink and purple? Fuck yeah! Youâre nonbinary but youâre feminine? Awesome! Youâre a masculine girl? Hell yeah! You use multiple pronouns? Cool, what are they? Donât wanna misgender you! You use pronouns ze/hir or ze/zir pronouns? Woah dude, thatâs so cool! Sorry if I get them wrong, my friend. Youâre socially awkward and youâve never had a gang before? Itâs okay, bro! Wonât do anything you arenât okay with, donât want you to be uncomfortable. Youâre a gay guy, but youâre not feminine at all? Honey, thatâs fine with me, youâre not expected to be anything here. Youâve got some PTSD from the city? Tell me your triggers, my guy. Guys have long hair, girls have short. You can have a mohawk for all I care, your hair is awesome to me. Bright clothes and wacky hair are just a âfuck youâ to how monochromatic BLI is.
If youâre homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, xenophobic (or any of the others), the desert if after you. We donât throw around slurs like faggot unless everyone there is comfortable with language like it.
All you gotta do is be able to fight, and itâs cool with everyone here. And, if you canât, thereâs plenty of time to practice.
((also, I donât know if the âkilljoy diversityâ hashtag has been used before, so Iâll check it out, but Iâd love to see other headcanons about Zone diversity!))
