A pressure fell upon his heaving chest, and all of his bones felt so suddenly breakable as it pressed down upon him. His lashes pressed together tightly before they flew apart, revealing the most intense, clear hazel eyes. They stared straight forward where the sky would be if he could see anything at all. Too bright... The light was too brought. He closed them but the black that Israel saw was spotted with bright flashes of colors that he couldn’t identify. He felt flushed and weak in all of the worst ways as he stirred against the restraints. Wolfsbane. Slowly, painfully he opened his eyes again. Artificial light burning his retinas from the lamp above him. Sweat trickled down his forehead and beaded in his hair. He couldn’t think clearly but he guessed he had triggered the collar. Fuck. He muttered silently. His vision slowly returned to him, hazily and shakily at first. A rattling breath escaped him as he tried to collect his thoughts as well as his bearings. He didn’t feel himself moving, but he followed his shifting vision with great interest, turning his head to look up without knowing it was of his own accord as he glared through bleary eyes. He was laying down on a table, his arms and legs restrained by heavy leather cuffs. For a moment he wondered if his parents had collected him. He froze. No. He knew that scent. Shit. Shit shit shit. He could feel panic grip him tight and fast, his body starting to thrash in the restraints. Soundless growls ripping from his mutilated throat. At the sound of footfalls, he froze, listening as they descended the stairs. He didn’t know where he was but the scent was enough to jog his memory. None of the memories were happy ones.
