“I won’t need anything fancy, a reliable mare would fit my needs” she had a horse back home, well her parents did as she had been her mother’s and she road her everyday until she left. But she had to stay with her father which was sad-- but Alona would rather he have a piece of her mother since she at least got her eyes to remember her by. Even still-- she enjoyed riding and had missed it at first, until she and Roan got on speaking terms and she started riding him when he would take Nott out for a run or a trip she had to go on with them. She did so love riding with Roan-- she thought perhaps she would miss that a little too much.

“Forgive me for asking-- but you are you and you would be the type to hide work for later, if you thought you could get away with it” as his soon to be mate it was her job to be sure he got rest and was taken care of-- she knew as a king he put himself first, but as her mate and husband, she would always put him first, and she thought he needed that. Roan was the type to sacrifice everything for his people, leaving little for himself-- half the time she wondered if he made time to even eat or sleep, though she out that thought aside for now in favor of enjoying the view. “They keep asking me what we want to eat t the wedding, and I keep telling them I don’t care, to ask you what you want.”

With a sigh, Clarke swept the chard remains of knight number 27 out of the cave’s mouth. why they kept coming and insisting she had been taken was beyond her-- she was perfectly happy here with the dragon, but then again that had more to do with her mother and Finn she supposed. She could try writing to them again, telling them to leave her be-- but she doubted it would do any good, they would just send another knight to ‘save’ her. “This one was long winded, I never thought he would shut up.”

OH GOSH LENEE is it actually your birthday, the stars to my universe. what a lovely babe to have been able to connect with. i won’t lie, while i was super excited to see a new roan when i first met you i was a little sceptical because of how POSITIVE you were all the time. as you know i’m not very and i haven’t exactly had very good experience with people that preach positivity. but overtime the fear washed away because you became a great friend and a wonderful writing partner, every reply you write is full with effort and a devotion to roan that is beautiful, zach would be so proud to know that you’re doing him so much justice. i honestly could have never have wished for a better writing partner, you call me out on shit when other people are too scared to and while we don’t agree on everything azgeda-wise we understand creative differences and are able to work together in such a wonderful way and the worlds created around our ( rather happiness deprived ) children is something i look forward to every time i get to write a reply for you.
