He was half asleep at this point, the paperwork was mounting up by the day; the festival was right around the corner and safe to say the Alivincia who were working on it this decade were… under educated, they could hardly decide on where to hold it, even though the location never changed, it was always just outside the inner barrier, where the Frolena lived, everytime.

He put the pen down, shoving a particularly painful pile of documents, he ignored the sounds of paper scattering as he buried his head in his hands; internally screaming as he tugged at his hair.

“Sorrow~!” The door creaked open, the ruffling of the bag the person held suggested food, but Sorrow didn't have the energy to lift his head up to check. “Sorrow? Are you awake?” Kierian; judging by the voice of the person, stepped up to his desk, placing the bag in front of him

“I brought lunch, I know you've been working yourself to the bone recently..” No response other than a weak “thank you.”

“Of course” Sorrow managed to gather enough energy to sit up, laying back into his chair, sighing as he stared up at the chandelier in his office “you didn't have to; really,” he rubbed his temples, attempting to relax but it didn't really help, he felt heavy, half awake. Kierian ripped the bag open, handing Sorrow his usual order from that particular takeaway. He wanted to eat, but frankly he was too tired.

“.. You alright? You'd normally be scarfing down your food by now” Sorrow scowled at the question “don't you think “scarfing” is a dramatization? I'm not a glutton.” Kierian chuckled, but it did little to lighten the mood. “Well, my apologies to your highness~” Kierian bowed his head, grinning. But the grin didn't last long “but honestly, you okay Sorrow? You look exhausted-” “I am exhausted, Kierian. These fools running the festival are all idiots! We hold the festival in the same place every year. Every single fucking year yet they're still asking where everything should go! It never changes! So why are they asking!?” Sorrow banged his fists on the desk, making Kierian flinch

“.. Apologies. Sorry, I just.. The paperwork never ends, and it's driving me nuts. I can't get a break, it's never normally this difficult.” Sorrow leaned back in his chair, resting his arm on the bridge of his nose.

“.. Would a massage help?” Kierian straightened his back, putting his nearly finished food down. “.. In the long run? No.” Kierian hummed “I understand-” “-I'd appreciate it, however..if you're willing” Kierian perked up “I wouldn't suggest it if I wasn't willing~” Kierian stood up, stretching and cracking his knuckles as he strolled to Sorrows side.

Sorrow had already unbuttoned his coat and shirt, folding the coat on his lap as Kierian tied Sorrows hair up; leaving his bare chest exposed, he could feel his cheeks warm up but chose to ignore it, opting to stand up instead, staggering a little as he stretched, much to Kierians confusion.

“Sit.” Sorrow pointed to the chair, but when Kierian didn't move, Sorrow grabbed him by the tie; shoving him into the chair, then sitting in his lap. “Hurry up” Kierian hummed, grinning “yes sir!” Kierian laid back, gently pulling Sorrow back to lay against him as he pulled out a bottle of Avcil Flower Oil, pouring a generous amount into his palm before kneading it into his muscles. Sorrow relaxed instantly, sighing contentedly as he leaned his head back into Kierians chest.

Sorrow yawned, turning his head to the side, staring at the door “.. What if someone walks in..? Won't you get in trouble?” Kierian hums “aren't you in charge?” “I don't control the force, they decide punishments and laws, not me” Sorrow feels a soft kiss pressed against his neck “don't. I'm trying to relax, not fall asleep.” A faint smile threatens to appear on Sorrows face as Kierian pulls away, pulling an annoyed whine out of Sorrows throat, “why'd you stop?” He mumbled as Kierian wrapped his arms around the blonde's waist, “my hands are tired~” a light scoff “whatever, just stay quiet” Kierian hums, lifting his arms up to his chest, pulling him closer as he pressed more kisses to his neck.

The sun was already beginning to set by the time the work for today was done, and it was safe to say that Sorrow had relaxed, even if only a little.

“Finally done?” Kierian leaned over the table, Sorrow was unfortunately still exhausted, giving a light hum of confirmation in response as he stood up, pulling his coat back on; but before he could get the to the door, he had been swept off his feet, screeching as he held onto Kieran like his life depended on it, then immediately punched him in the head, lightly of course. Kierian only chuckled in response, kissing his cheek as he strolled out the door, carrying him back to his home, opting to fly instead of walking the quarter mile.

By the time they had gotten to Kierians apartment; Sorrow was dozing off, ready to curl up and commit to a year long coma, but he was far too busy for that.

Kierian nudged the door shut with his foot, laying Sorrow down on the sofa and throwing a blanket on him as the former took his coat off.

“Kierian?” He hums,gentle but curious.

“.. Please don't leave.” a chuckle from across the room, “why would I? This is my apartment”

“You know what I mean.”

“Do I?” Kierian leans over the sofa, cup of water in hand. Taking a small sip before handing the cup to Sorrow, he promptly sat it on the coffee table.

Sorrow kicked off his shoes, burying himself under the blanket; Kierian only chuckled, stepping in front of the sofa and climbing in next to Sorrow, pulling him close.

“Goodnight” a hum was all Kierian got in response.
