BUT! i do have some truth to speak for a sec

i do not, will not, and have not EVER felt any sort of sympathy for sirius in the slightest when he’s brought up during “the prank.” it was completely his fault whether he (or the fans) wants to admit that, and i will not feel any sympathy for him even if a fan hcs that remus told him to khs afterwards.

sirius deserved to be hated at that point, by everyone involved and everyone who knew.

i do also blame james a little bit, but i do feel a little more sympathy for him because im fairly sure (correct me if im wrong ofc <3) he was studying or practicing during this. or, at the very least he didn’t know until he had to.

sirius risked three people’s lives that day for a prank. he doesn’t deserve sympathy. for everything else he’s been through, OF COURSE. he is one of my favorite characters, but in this context he deserves none.
