I love making AUs where the AU itself doesnât change all too much about the characters and instead can make sense with the canonâwhile at the same time being batshit insane because thats exactly what Iâm doing with my Superman x DCC au. Because it would be very in character for Carl not to mention or talk much about having a second family (even if he would deny it for a bit) or having a super-powered best friend. This is the guy who can casually mention or think about how his family life was fucked up. Itâs fundementally his character that he represses things and keep things to his chest.
âCarl, why didnât ever talk about (so and so)?â âBecause it never came up in conversation and it didnât seem importantâ and said topic being something that fundamentally changed his life. Thanks Carl for being like this for this AU to work so, so well.

I want to talk so much about Hades 2 on main and how its ending left so much to be desired for me and for others. But then Supergiant Games blew it out the water by having a post-launch patch that actually fixed so many of my major gripes that I'm back to saying Supergiant Games knows what they're doing: listening to fans.
You know the âget in the boxâ meme. Well thats unfortunately me after reading DCC: This Inevietable Ruin and somehow theres more Superman x DCC in my head like a goddamn parasite.
Thoughts on DCC book 8?
Ginger Kangaroo Dasuchund taking on the world is certainly a cocktail.
Nah, actual thoughts: I enjoyed the book as a book to help transition to Book 9. A lot of funny moments I want to draw/animate!
Overall, however, it's towards the bottom of my ranking list of DCC books. It can, however, never beat Doomsday Scenario, which is at the very bottom.
