you know That Smile that wuxian gives wangji when they look at each other for a bit? the one that wants to be close-lipped but bursts open anyway, all sweet and stupid? i only noticed it during the last quarter of the show and it’s like wuxian is surprised by the love and devotion in wangji’s eyes, and a lil overwhelmed. someone is on his side, and it’s LAN WANGJI of all people. with everything that wangji is, which wuxian figures he himself is so distant from, wangji still CHOOSES wuxian and he smiles like that because maybe he’s always waiting for the moment that he’s left alone against the world. but the moment never comes

i don’t know about you but i may just read, 1000 times in 1000 different ways, a smiley boy feeling his world turn upside down because he sees a stone-faced boy smile...and perhaps i will love it every single time

modern au wangxian in which they move to LA and because of peer community pressure wuxian is like “hey what if i went vegan” and he’s surprised when wangji wants to try it with him. their first day of veganism, wuxian accidentally uses butter (“i forgot condiments count, okay—”) so then wangji just goes all in with planning their meals and buying specialty stuff. wuxian copes by dumping copious amounts of hot sauce on everything while wangji is completely unbothered and jokes that he feels “one step closer to becoming a rabbit”
