I'd say one of Arielle's biggest character flaws is that she is fiercely independent and refuses to accept any help. Because of bad experiences with people in the past, she does just about everything on her own and often tends to bite off more than she can chew. She refuses to rely on other people for things and doesn't want to burden people if she doesn't have to even if she is overwhelmed with work. Most times she won't even ask her own wife for help which Khorchi reprimands her for. Because of her being so used to doing things on her own, she finds it difficult to openly communicate her need for assistance. Thus, she doesn't.
