A design I made for this month’s creative prompt over on Khimeros. We had to design our own Khimbit breed and give a little info about them. (Khimbits are small collectable companion pets for khimeras and avatar characters on the site). I had fun making these. They are far from perfect, but I was just glad to finally draw something after the shit month January was. This helped bring me out of this rut a little.
“Liogons are kin of both foo lions and eastern dragons. They are about the height of a cougar, with longer bodies. They dwell in mountainous regions and like to kept to themselves. Liogons are very cat-like in behavior and live in small colonies. They only share affection and resources with those they consider part of the group. In warmer months they enjoy sunning themselves on mountain sides and in colder months they can often be found hanging out in hot springs.“

Starting early in January and running throughout the month, we will be holding the Dragon Egg Festival! The festival includes FIVE new dragon bases - two unique khimbits, two platinum bases, and a new draak alternate! TWO of the bases - one unique khimbit and the khimera alternate - are new wyvir bases! (Previews only - bases are subject to last minute tweaking) Platinum Bases Unique Khimbit Bases Khimera Alternate Base When opening a Dragon Egg, you will receive either one of the unique khimbits, one of the platinum dragon bases, or a wyvir alternate chrysalis. If you open the egg and it is a "dud", you can receive deco items as well! If you are very lucky you may receive a unique khimbit master platinum base when opening an egg!! Eggs will cost 6 beads for a single, 10 beads for two eggs, and you will receive a free bonus egg when you purchase ten eggs! We will also be releasing 250 free unique khimbits of each base during the event, via foraging, dice, quests, etc. Due to the extent of the Dragon Egg event, we will not have monthly treasures or additional khimbits during January. We hope you will enjoy this event!
Achaks and Dice Items!
Achaks have made their way around Khimeros and can now be found in the Mountains, Dice! and Forums. While foraging in the mountains, if you're sure you want to, you can try to lure one of these creatures home with you. Ice Achak Natural Achak Sinister Achak In the forums, be careful of what you say or one of these two could find you very interesting. Spirit Achak And for upgraded users only, you can test your luck with Dice! Thorny Achak Also in Dice! everyone can now randomly receive gravestones and wrought iron fence pieces!
PARANOIA!
WELL YOU SHOULD BE! Another Masquesrade event begins today - Paranoia! - Once every 30 minutes, you may pick a fellow Paranoia player to attempt to scare. - Once you've done this, a small skeletal khimbit will show up on the next page they load. - If they notice and click the skeleton within 60 seconds of loading the page, they've caught you and will gain a point! If they don't notice the ghost, you will gain a point instead. - You may only scare the same person once every 24 hours. - You are also able to be scared, so keep an eye out on every page to make sure you don't get caught off guard! A person may only be scared once every 60 minutes. - You may opt in and out of the game, but must wait 24 hours after your last scare attempt before opting out of the game. You can receive event point candies from paranoia, and also have a chance to receive one of these six skeletal khimbits! At the end of the event, there will be trophies!

Good day everyone, we have a new Monthly Treasure Packs in the Cash Shop! Inside you will find a new Khimbit, the Achak! Demon Achak and Skinned Achak Walking Dead Achak and Willowisp Achak And the bonus! Wraith Achak You will also find a Twisted Tree and a Masquerade Candle Pack! SPELUNKING!
Due to so many people exploring Khimeros (20,000 of them in fact!) it seems there have been some environmental shifts. Some adventurous khimeras have found a cave entrance into the mountains near Arabasti's hideout and have started exploring the wondrous caverns. Maybe you should go check it out! But be careful, the columns look unstable in some spots and the cave has the potential to collapse... You can go spelunking once every 30 minutes, due to the instability in the area. The event will be running until October 6th. I've also been told that this is where the kruos are coming from. Chances are you will run into some while you are spelunking. (Spelunking is replacing foraging as a means to obtain khimbits this month.) WAWAS ARE HERE!
The Octopints have swum away, and the fluffy Wawas have come out to play! Storm and Patched Wawa Ocean and Neon Wawa Luff Wawa To breed a Wawa, go to the Meadow -> Breed Khimbits. You will need to select one Kitt and one Bunneh from your den to breed together. Each combination gives you the chance to produce a different color of Wawa. You may breed khimbits once every 12 hours; the counters reset at noon and midnight, site time. If you try one combo of khimbits and it is not a valid "recipe" to create a Wawa color, you will receive an error message and be able to try again. If your breeding attempt fails though, you will need to wait until the counter resets. If you are especially lucky, you may receive a "twin" khimbit during any successful breeding. This month's twin is the Flaming Wawa!
