I think a lot of artists have an idea or a story brewing in their heads, but they never materialize them because they don’t think anyone else would care and they themselves already have all the scenes in their head. At best they just half-ass it with disjointed concepts and similar non-committal tidbits.
This is my non-committal tidbit, a chap 1 cover. I sorta want to at least try making one chapter or a oneshot, but I’m not even sure why. Maybe just to prove it’s trash so I’d never look back with doubt.
That got a little gloomy. I guess the picture’s jolly mood bled into me.
Title reference I've been procrastinating this since October and finally forced myself to wrap it up. Thought I'd at least be happy to be done with it, but, well. Not even sure why I'm uploading this. Maybe hoping that silent peer pressure might be some small contributing factor to improving? I guess it's at least kind of amusing that a comic about not giving up on trash turned out to be trash I wish I had given up on. I think the single most aggravating thing about it is that it was supposed to be a super-simple "lemme fix that for you look it's cool" scene fit for a short wordless format, but then halfway through I thought it was boring and added the confusing "burning glue saved by magics" bit that's too abstract to fit the super-simple format.

Yuniki, Kharseth, and an Edgelord Elemental by the looks of it. Was a fun exercise in finding a bit of a personal style and visualizing some char designs I had in mind. Quite a challenge to come up with a somewhat-compelling design for something that’s mostly just made up for blood. But I think the shininess and upper body veins made it a bit less boring than it could be. Left Yuniki looks kinda off, but I like how the right one’s face turned out.
