Orphan Maker.

Waiting for her to come back from the war, meanwhile I remembered I drew some headshots of Yasha in 2022 that I never posted and had started to redraw a few months ago, so I went and finished those up.

I can't WAIT to see what the animated series is up to with her, and I think I may have an inkling ...

I have so many thoughts about what Yasha was called to do and how she went about it but the problem is that I do not have another expansive plot like that in me right now. All that building energy goes to the werewolf AU for now (which I have not forgotten about, but that’s another post). So Yasha’s destiny is very much a thing happening in the background/in between those years they were apart. I want to do little oneshots that explain some of the setup though, like why Yasha doesn’t want to use her legs and her relationship to storms and to Kord, or what she looks like when she gets super pissed off (I’m thinking Beau probably met a grumpy catfish bigger than she is out in the main lake one day and Yasha had to step in).

but omg yes i have answers for u!:

1-Undyne’s used to sea life and hates really restrictive things around her arms and legs- so pants are usually a no! She sticks to shorts for the most part, so her legs can breathe and she doesn't overheat as easily (they live in a pretty tropic climate, being close to the beach and all). maybe she wears pants later, but that’s mostly a secret for right now .....;3c

2-LMFAOO she sleeps i promise! I actually intend to touch on it in the next chapter (depending how things get split up), but for now I’ll just say she sticks to places that are enclosed and cramped and can keep her covered, bc that’s what she’s most used to (gotta protect yourself out in the ocean!)

3- oh hmmm I never really thought of a specific length of time but it was always written in my notes for myself as at least a couple weeks. maybe about a month? 6 weeks? lesbians move fast but pine long

I've been looking through my CR art to find something for a 10th anniversary post on bsky and decided to put the Cognouza Ward back into the 9-eyes-drawing I did of Beau. I didn't like it back then, but 4 years later I think it looks fine actually, lmao.

Beauyasha-Week 2025: Day 1 - Hurt/Comfort

They’re really just too good to her. She should bristle against it, probably, refuse to accept it, but she can’t. Yasha knows she’ll never be able to, whether she deserves it or not. No matter how bad she’s handling it. She’s so glad she didn’t kill Beau. That everyone is alright. It takes a while, Yasha couldn’t say for how long she stares at the ceiling, forcing her focus to stay on the comfort offered by Beau’s hand and Jester clinging to her, face pressed into her shoulder. Eventually, Jester turns in her sleep, freeing Yasha’s arm. Beau’s fingers are loose, her breathing has evened out. Yasha carefully turns onto her side and watches Beau’s profile in the noisy night vision.

It's been for fucking ever, but hey, what better day than this one to push out the last chapter of my h/c beauyasha fanfic. It's Yasha’s POV, after the Cathedral fight.
