This is one of the few features on here where I let you guys into my heart and mind!

It's a very very personal feature where I'm sharing with you why and how certain people, places and events provoke emotions inside me that can only be translated by certain songs!

Even though a few of you have asked, I do not think that I am in the position to explain fully where the emotions are coming from but you can at least enjoy the music right?

Khaled Selim - "Seket Leih"

This song has been one of the hidden gems of Khaled's album "Wala Leila Wala Youm", released in 2003!

The lyrics are so heartfelt, it would bring tears to your eyes regardless of the emotion and Khaled's delivery and voice on here sounds amazing!

The phrase "Seket Leih" translates to "What made you quiet" and the concept of the song details how Khaled can sense that his lover is extra quiet and sad....and he's trying his very best to cheer her up or at least get her to tell him what is wrong so that he can help....

A person close to my heart had worried me about them in an almost identical manner last night...and the first thing to come to my mind was this song!!!

I really hope they are feeling better now but for the moment, lets enjoy the record...
