About Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link
I am so excited to learn more of Brain's story, and to see Scala when it was actually inhabited.
But I think it's going to be locked behind gacha mechanics again. Watching the trailer, I began to notice that whenever the presumable Avatar character did a move, a small statue spun around them as the initiated the attack. I would bet on those little statue things being the pullable gacha item we're going to need to use to play it.
And I am just so tired of gacha.
I'll still play the game so long as it is possible for F2P players to feasibly progress. But I would have much rather a full spin off on the switch that I pay for once and never again.
Not that I ever spend money on gacha but still.
I suppose it's convenient for them - they're able to release story in bite sized pieces rather than having a whole tale ready to go. And it also provides a content drip for the most devoted fans to sate them between larger releases.
But is there a way to do that without predatory gacha mechanics??
