I have finished the Hell Essay and escaped the worst of the semester, I still have one more essay and two exams but only one should suck
also I have really really good people in my life
last night I was having a Very Bad Time in class and I couldn’t text my mom bc she was at work so I was texting my dad instead. when I had to dip bc things got so bad he said “wish I could give you a hug” and then apparently thought ‘wait, actually I could do that’ and he grabbed my brothers and stuck ‘em in the car and a few minutes after I got home they showed up for a bunch of surprise emergency hugs (and also they drove me over to the shoppers to buy my favourite ice cream)
then today. Keynan and I had been talking about seeing Moana but I was indecisive bc I’m still super not used to going to movies without my family, and I knew Kieran in particular really wanted to see Moana. so I texted him first to ask if he was okay with me seeing it without him and he told me it was okay. when Keynan came over I mentioned that my indecision earlier had been bc I wanted to check with Kieran first and his reaction was “well... we have time to swing by and pick him up and we can just see it at the theater near your place.” so I called home to check and we went and got him and the three of us went together!! which made me so so happy bc Kieran is kinda my best friend lately and also it’s good for him to get chances to get out of the house and have fun since he hasn’t been well enough to go to school in months. it was really really nice to go out and spend a few hours with Keynan and Kieran (two of my very favourite dudes) and not even feel guilty bc most of my school stuff is donnnnnnne! and also MOANA WAS SO GOOD I REALLY LOVED IT
also I have TIME to MYSELF and I’m watching CARTOONS I’ve picked up Milo Murphy’s Law as I’ve been meaning to do and it’s really fun! all the Phineas and Ferb vibes I was hoping for while still being thoroughly different and original, and the characters are really good (even the background ones!) it’s so nice to watch a fun new toon
my boyfriend: calls me shortly after midnight to wish me a happy birthday and tell me I’m cute
