The "leak" is actually just a short clip and a couple stills from the CN Anything app. I won't say what's in them, but I wouldn't consider them spoilery. I can totally understand if there's people who want to go in totally blind though.
Ah, thanks for confirming this! I used to use the CN Anything app a lot but ended up deleting it somewhat recently during a phone update. Might have to cautiously check on that

AH, I was wondering if Garnet splitting would be for baseball and then THERE IT IS. Curious though that typically the catcher and batter would be on opposite teams. Baseball usually takes 9 players, but I could see them getting away with 5 (one for each base + pitcher) But that still doesn't leave enough players for a second team, even if we include Jasper, Peridot, and Lapis together somehow... (maybe YD and Yellow Pearl lol can you imagine?) Also I bet Sapphire is a great in/outfielder. ZOOM
the clip we saw before from the episode had Steven proposing a baseball game to someone off-screen. Its possible a ship with soldiers manages to land, or maybe robots? And Steven bargains with them so they play the game of baseball, something like that. It could be that the teams are uneven so in the interest of fairness, some of the Gems have to compete for the other team?
Or maybe the scene that screenshot is from is just them practicing for the match? Or at the beginning of the episode they’re playing for fun and then later have to play for real when Steven makes that bargain? Or Ruby is playing a ‘neutral’ catcher? I dunno.
We’re also not sure if Sapphire, Pearl, Lapis, and Jasper are there, all or a few of them could be doing something else, so the ‘teams’ wouldn’t be so big. I certainly hope they ARE there, though, ‘cause how unfortunate would it be to get to see only some of the Gems play baseball?

Dream Artie is precious, just like real life Artie! I had a dream awhile ago that Peridot had to pass some kind of assessment test, but when it became apparent that she wasn't going to pass for arbitrary reasons she revolted, released Lapis and Jasper, and they all staged a great escape together. The funny part was that the Homeworld Gems didn't really fight back because "you can't DO THAT! That's not how things are done!" Like rebelling was such an unbelievable concept, they couldn't handle it.

Comic Nerd Here: You can actually preorder any trade issue if you do it in advance. They usually have a cut off order date a month before their release date. (SU issue one already past in February unfortunately) But preorder is good for you, your comic book store, and the comic book publisher. You get your book guaranteed, the store doesn't have to hold stock they might not sell, and the publisher knows you're interested. YEAH MOAR COMICS!
As a follow up to my last ask, Boom Comics has had the previous SU comic series up for purchase online in the past. (Currently everything is sold out except one issue) They don't currently have any listing up for the new series, which I'm guessing should come up as "Steven and the Crystal Gems." So, if you miss it in stores, that might be the last resort to getting a physical copy of issue one of that series. Anyway, I'm just putting this out there cause I wanna help people get the comics.
