one thing that really fucks me up about the control core angel scene is the fact that jack refers to angel as "an innocent girl." like this guy CONSTANTLY puts angel directly in the middle of all his shit, making her look for new vault hunters and manipulating them into doing things, and then he has the fucking nerve to claim she's not a part of any of it. and like, yeah, she is an innocent girl in the sense that she didn't Want to do those things and was forced into doing them. but she's very much not an innocent girl in the way that jack says it. she does a lot of very shitty things to people and then jack swoops in with the "um? 🥺🥺 she's literally a minor? 🥺🥺 an innocent little baby?"
like sir, maybe acknowledge that your daughter is a whole ass human being and stop with the infantilizing bullshit
