Hey Martians! (FR)  On est très heureux de vous annoncer aujourd'hui notre nouveau line up ! Voici les 2 nouveaux venus !

Guillaume Boudou : Basse Kevin Plutta Official : Batterie

Devy : "On se connait avec Kevin depuis un bon moment et on était déjà de très bons potes. On avait l'habitude de jouer ensemble de temps en temps et on a de suite accroché musicalement. C'est un batteur fou, infatigable et passionné, une véritable machine de travail. Sa frappe, particulièrement dévastatrice, semble propulsée par 4 bras et huit jambes… Ce qui m'a marqué dès le début c'est de voir comme il cherche toujours à servir la musique qu'il joue, faisant preuve à 26 ans, d'une grande maturité musicale. En plus, c'est un gars adorable toujours soucieux du confort et du bien être des gens qui l'entourent. 

Kevin connaissait Guillaume et m'a dit qu'il fallait absolument se rencontrer tous les 3. On a jammé... Le son et l'impact de la basse de Guillaume m'ont tout de suite soufflé et donné envie de donner plus de place à la basse dans Mars. En plus d'être un excellent bassiste et musicien c'est quelqu'un de très calme et réfléchi qui nous offre son regard toujours très pertinent. Il amène une sérénité et une densité supplémentaire au groupe.

Cela fait maintenant plusieurs mois que l'on travaille tous les trois. L'équilibre que l'on a trouvé nous a très vite donné envie de tenter l'aventure en trio. Après une multitude de tests et d'expérimentations, on a véritablement saisi le son de Mars et on a tellement hâte de concrétiser tout ça avec l'album !!"

Guillaume Boudou : Bass Kevin Plutta : Drums

Devy : "Kevin and I met a while ago and became good friends since then. We were used to play together from time to time and found a real musical connection. He's a crazy, restless and passionate drummer and a real working machine. His skills and sound are pretty amazing… What really stroke me is his will to always put the music and the song first, reflecting a true musical maturity. Besides, he's such a nice guy, always concerned about the comfort and well-being of the people around him. Kevin knew Guillaume and told me that we had to met and set a jam session. The sound and the impact of his bass immediately blew me away. The bass had to become a much stronger element of the band's sound. In addition to being a very talented bassist and musician, Guillaume is a very calm and mature guy who always gives a fresh view angle. He brings serenity and a real density to the band.

The 3 of us have been working for few months by now. The balance we found simply drove us to go on on a trio format. After a large number of tests and experiments, we really seized the sound of Mars and we just can't wait to start the recordings of the album!!"
