I'm glad you're open to questions/discussions because I can't stop thinking about Kesrah. I don't see a lot of other ex-Jedi ocs set during the clone wars, so I'm obsessed lol. It's just a cherry on top that she's also a ginger!! 😂

Her nickname being Kes is too cute!! Also hell yeah poly!batch time! 😎 Awe, poor girl..so hurt and hiding it from everyone... I can't wait to see her break, and then her rebuilding after >:3c

And a couple more questions~

1. Do you know who her Master was yet, or is that still undecided? Also, disarmed and blacklisted, so no lightsaber? 👀 (Will she get one again when everything goes to hell with order 66? - Does the story go that far?)

2. And maybe a bit meta, but what characters inspired her creation? Did you have them actively in mind while making her, or realized later where she gets certain traits from?

1. How old is she?

2. What clone/s is she shipped with? 👀

3. Looking through her tag, I didn't find much about her personality aside from things related to healing/love/trauma, so I wanted to ask; On a neutral day during the clone wars, what is she feeling? How does she react to the losses that come with war? Where does she find motivation to keep on? Who does she lean on for support when it gets too hard (if she leans on anyone 🥺)?

4. Ex-Jedi is my catnip, so any more details about that situation you willing to share? How would she react if she met another ex-Jedi fighting in the war?

Of course answer as much or as little as you like, I understand wanting to save stuff for the fic! Thanks so much!

Hello again art fight anon! I really appreciate these questions, so thank you so much for sending them! I can talk about my gorl all dang day if you let me lol 1.) I haven't given a concrete "This is her birthday", but she's in the neighborhood of 25. The only time I've said anything about her age in the story I'm writing is by referring to her as "half-way through her twenties", so. Ye, 25 lets say lol

2.) Ah. The Bad Batch. :D All of 'em to varying degrees, but yes, all of them.

3.) I've gotta be honest, I've put out very little about her publicly yet. I've been so stuck into this fic lol Despite being expelled from the Jedi order she very much still tries in little ways to behave like a Jedi would. She won't be honest about the heartbreak of seeing such catastrophic loss of life. Even though she believes that the clones, like any other living thing, returns to the Force when it dies, she still feels the loss vividly. Her lack of control of her emotions is one of the main reasons she was deemed unfit to be a Jedi Knight. As far as leaning on anyone, there are moments of weakness where she does, especially after a particular grueling nightmare or other episode. She leans on the batch (primarily Hunter and Wrecker, and eventually Echo) the way she did in her younger days with Lier. But it takes her getting to a breaking point for her to lean at all. Again, she still tries to behave in a way that's worthy of a Jedi. There are just some things that can't be unlearned in a handful of months, y'know?

4.) As far as her expulsion, I'll say that the primary reasons given were "Having attachments unbecoming of a Jedi and disobeying her Master." And also, with the trauma, she's labeled as unsafe; there's a concern that she'll want revenge against any number of people, and she's already proven that she gives into her emotions easily. So yeah, disarmed and blacklisted, unfortunately. As for meeting another ex-Jedi, I think she'd be shocked. It's one of those things where the shame she has tied to her expulsion makes her unwilling to even say that she ever was a Jedi. She keeps it a secret (as best as a terrible liar can lol), and she honestly wouldn't know what to do with them, but I also think she'd be eager for that sort of connection. Her circumstances feel very isolating, especially in the beginning, so meeting someone to commiserate with would relieve some of that pressure as well. Knowing she's not alone, not the only one to carry that weight, would make her eager to make a friend out of that person once she got to know them better.

art fight is an annual online event to draw other people's ocs! it's hosted on the Art Fight website and takes place in the summer. there's zero expectations after you join a team. I'd suggest reading about the event from the website, they cover the basics well lol.

Lier Cal’Caj, Jedi knight and best friend/pseudo big brother to Kesrah!

He was one of the most vocal that Kesrah shouldn’t be confined after she was expelled, but he also wasn’t entirely keen that she was placed on a team without any Jedi oversight. He’s very much the overly protective big brother type, as well a little shit.

Lier works with a small squad of clones who specialize in infiltration, who have yet to be completely fleshed out.
