Stapelianthus keraudreniae
Photographed by: Tulear
The genera of Stapelianthus seems very diverse in flower morphology. The flower of S. keraudreniae resembles H. zebrina at first glance when looking directly at the red raised annulus but also features characteristics associated to the genera Orbea’s annulus when looking at where the lobes connect. The annulus also produces a noticeably sticky excretion from the nectaries located there.
