wow that must be kinda freaky. would you like me to tag any sort of galaxy type stuff like that for you? ill probably start to do that anyway in case anyone else is like that but if you have a specific tag to suggest ill use that one too

I guess it's probably true that if I have this problem then there are others out there who also have it and I guess it could be really distressing so I'd think something like "#galaxy print" would probably do the trick.

But I will say that it doesn't really bother me, personally, in any significant way. I know consciously that galaxy prints are fabric and not actually spatial anomolies so I'm not like, panicking about it. It's just that my subconscious mind can't... recognize it as fabric, I guess is the best way to phrase it. It's a sort of optical illusion my brain just doesn't process well without aid from other senses.

I've been mildly aware of this problem for a while in that seeing galaxy prints made me mildly uncomfortable in a way I couldn't quite put my finger on but I saw a photo set of galaxy print beds yesterday and it suddenly clicked that this was the problem I was having. I'm kind of wondering now if understanding why galaxy prints make me mildly uncomfortable might make me feel more freaked out about it (why does my brain behave this way? Should I be concerned?) but only time will tell.
