how do people know if they’re a therian or kenekomimi, not just a pet regressor? /genuine
I’m unsure, I personally identify heavily with cats, I feel like I’m missing my ears and tail and it’s strange to be reminded of that. Internally, I present with cat ears and a tail so I kinda think it’s just that, but then, I don’t understand why I view myself like that but other individuals don’t, and it’s not a source thing. I specifically view myself as a white ragdoll cat. The rest of the system has their own nonhuman identities, very few of us identify as human. Most are some type of fae, faerie or vampire, but quite a few also identify with animals more than humans. There’s also those who are nonhuman from their source but that’s less relevant to this, I think.
I feel like I’m *always* a cat, not just when I’m regressed, but I also don’t know if I only age regress or also pet regress. I question if it’s just regression, but also I’m definitely not regressed now and trying to think of myself without the cat part of my identity feels wrong.
I don’t know, I don’t want to call myself something without some idea of how I’d come to find that out about myself, but it’s a part of my identity I just *cant* separate from the rest of me. I’m also getting a white kitten ear and tail set for myself, it doesn’t match our current hair but it *does* match my cosplay and I’ll be wearing it most of the time I’m in Furina 🩵🪽
