Ken Meier is a contemporary graphic designer based out of New York. He received his MFA in design from Yale University and I'm proud to say he is my graphic design teacher here at Rutgers. This is one of his video projects which juxtaposes a before and after perspective on the city of Detroit. I think this somewhat goes along with our short discussion on the Eminem/Chrysler commercial. The result of this short film is both nostalgic and eerie but I think it successfully makes a bold statement without having to say too much. Enjoy.
