The building material of modern civilization with the associated urban soundscape sometimes heard as sonic memories. Conscious saturates with extrinsic processing but the sounds within are also beautifully patient. Silent moments, long empty space droning with only the crunch of a footstep. Then quiet again until energy explodes in defined slow motion. All the time lost in the labyrinth Alfredo Costa Monteiro has most articulately created.
