i felt the same way originally. and then after his talk with kevin, where he said that kevin reminds him so much of jack sometimes that he feels he still gets to be around his best friend... it helped me understand that maybe him & Rebecca are happy together/feel comfortable together because they were both such important people to Jack. that their current connection with each other helps them remember Jack in a way
exactly. that scene helped a lot to really highlight the fact that miguel lost jack too. i bet they helped each other a lot after his death. i mean rebecca couldn’t go and dump her grief on her mourning kids, so she turned to miguel because he understood.
