stella will claim all she wants in a partner is someone she can be a team with, but the truth is a lot more complicated than that. a lot of her intimacy / commitment issues stem from the fact that she never actually dealt with her fathers death when she was young, though she doesn’t realize that. what she thinks is that she’s just not deserving of a grand romance like she sees in the movies because of her own flaws - and that even if she bothers to be introspective of them, she still would end up fucking things up. that being said, she needs someone who makes her laugh and calls her on her bullshit when she’s being ridiculous ( mostly when she’s being jealous or petty ) and someone who has their own passions and desires because even if they don’t match her own she loves listening to them talk. and she does want someone she can be a team with - she wants kids and she wants a partner and not just someone she can fuck for 10 years and then realize they weren’t going the same place in life.
