best quality: His self-awareness. He knows he needs to change and is making steps to become better. Just with anyone who needs to make changes, it slow and hard and there are set backs, but he doesn’t give up.
worst quality: His ego. I love this man, but he does have an ego (just like every superhero I have ever seen). He needs to learn to listen better and speak up in the moment and communicate his thoughts and discuss with Kara different options.

misc. thoughts: Mon-El is very flawed and has a lot he needs to work on, but he is striving to become better. I do not give him passes on things he does wrong, but I also can see why he does certain things. He grew up in a world that was very self-involved. They cared what they got and that was it. That is all he knew for 20+ years. That’s a lot of things one needs to unlearn. Now he has someone to inspire him to be better. He finally sees what it means to be self-sacrificing. To give of oneself without wanting anything in return. Kara is showing him that. I also believe, as we have been shown, that Mon-El does have a very strong internal moral code. However, as more is revealed about his parents, I also believe that he learnt the hard way to keep that part of him silent. He has to bring that part of himself out again. CAN YOU TELL HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS CHARACTER!!
