I realize that our friends opinions mean a lot to us. Especially us women. We dream of being able to take couples trips together, go on double dates and have a Romantic movie style of situation. However, that's not always a reality. You are taught that you can talk to your girlfriends about any and everything. Especially your relationships. You think you can talk about the good, the bad and the ugly, and your friend is going to agree with you along the way. The truth is, your friend form opinions based on the information you give them. And when there is trouble in paradise, your friend is there is offer up some good advice. Sometimes that advice isn't aligned with what you want. When you and the boo are having a few rough patches, your friend feels they have to be the one to protect you. To wake you up, before you go down that road named heartbreak. Because in their opinion, when the boo's actions aren't aligned with what they believe, they start to push their opinions on your situation. In the name of protecting you from yourself. When they themselves have been through the relationship trenches themselves and bare the battle scars. And they tend to be less forgiving in your situation. Understand, each relationship will not mirror others as they are unique to each couple. There is a reason you are supposed to keep your relationship sacred, not to share your issues or problems except with someone who has proved to be a trusted resource and give you unbiased advice to help you progress. Not hold you back or tell you to run from every issue you encounter. #KeepYourRelationshipsSacred #LoveNLight #relationshipsarehardwork
