I also wanna know your answer to 8. :3 Also, 10 and 37, pretty please.
08: What’s the best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten?
omg when i asked it seemed cute but it's actually really hard to answer this!!
i've actually been really fortunate and i've been given many great pieces of advice and feedback over the years, but i guess the most memorable were always those comments that pointed out things i did wrong or that i needed to improve.
i don't actually know if it's the best pieces of feedback but i do remember once when i was about 13 and already researching for my writing at a school computer during a free period when my teacher came and asked me what i was doing and i said something like well it's nothing much just me looking for things and he was really interested and asked me about it and i don't really remember what he said exactly but it was something like "it's not really nothing if it's important to you"?? And at that point in my life i wasn't very confident about my writing because, again, i was 13, but he helped me keep going and i was really embarrassed but that's really how to be a teacher 😊
10: What’s your biggest writer pet-peeve?
fun question considering until two months ago i actually thought pet peeve and plot bunny were the same thing 😂
hm i don't really enjoy writing fights of any kind. i do tend to avoid conflict irl and i haven't actually had many actual arguments with people that are not my family in my entire life (i do run away from conflict and if i'm bothered by something you do i either ignore it or try to talk about it with a sideways kind of approach and i overanalyze things a lot but that's not the point of the question), so i never know how to write people snapping and being unpleasant and not hiding when they are mad or sad 😂 so yeah that's why i write a lot of fights 😂😂😂😂😂
37: What’s your oldest WIP?
hm i don't know if it is a wip because i do know i'm not ever going to write it but the first novel i abandoned mid-through was some stupid fantasy thingy in which the main character was actually who i thought i would be ten years in the future (i was about 14 then and i am not now anywhere near that character and the main reason i dropped the story was because it is way more fun to invent everything than to use real people as characters).
as for real wips i'd say the oldest is that remake of one of my old novels, which is written somehow but not edited because i realised i am never going to publish it. and i've got a 15-month-old manuscript in progress which is almost completely edited. I normally only start writing what i know i'm going to finish so i'm no fun in this question 🙃
