“Why are all the cute guys taken, gay, or your brother?” Beverly pouted, sitting on the bench next to Kit. “I was about to go talk to this guy with a great butt, til I heard someone say his name. It was Blake, and now I want to throw myself face first into the sword of Gryffindor.” 

“I can’t believe she’s gone.” Charlie moaned into the couch. He was half-heartedly playing Smash on the Switch, not caring that he kept dying and dying and dying... “I’m dead.”

“Hello, boy!” Luca bent down to pet the dog. “He’s beautiful! What’s his name?”

“Booty Kit! Guess what?” Bev grinned as she snuck an arm around Kit’s shoulder. “I saw a girl talking to Charlie the other day.”

"Guess who’s here for five years and will no longer have to crash on your couch for a week or more.”

“I miss being around people. Was it this hard for you when school started again?”
