If it wasn’t for the fact Soryu was holding her back she’d be breaking his bones rn

Decides to get some space so she doesn’t end up murdering her boyfriend’s best friend

She accepts the apology for now, but probably does some kind of prank to get revenge

She RARELY gets mad at him

But in these rare instances, she just gives him the silent treatment

He’s annoying to her in general

ANYTHING could push her to the limit, depending on her mood

He probably compared her to a dog or insulted her some way

She smiles suspiciously and gets up and leaves

Texts Ota to come outside to see her for a “special surprise”

He heads to the entrance and BEHOLD

She has a big dog ready to chase his ass

Makes him apologize

Still lets the dog go as it attacks him with slobbering licks

He definitely learns his lesson

Mamoru

She is a very organized person, so his messy tendencies tend to annoy her

Tries to force him to clean up

He doesn’t do it cuz he’s lazy

She comes back to see the mess still there

Turns petty and decides to take matters in her own hands

After a long nap Mamoru wakes up and screams unexpectedly

His room is FILLED with garbage

OC is sitting in the penthouse laughing about his reaction

He decides to keep his messes in his room from now on

As much as she doesn’t get along with him, she still considers him a friend

She would talk to Soryu since he’s his best friend for present ideas

She decides to buy him a new tie

Doesn’t say anything when she gives him the present and avoids eyes contact

He genuinely looks surprised but takes the present anyways

He hesitates in opening it since he thinks it’s a prank

Once he sees the gift, he looks relieved and mutters a thank you

She nods and hides her smile with her hand

Soryu

THE LOVE OF HER LIFE NEEDS ONLY THE BEST PRESENT

She makes a huge list of all the possible things she can buy

Somehow a mansion is on it?

But all she thinks about is how grand she has to go for him

Goes to the bidders for advice

They all just looked concerned as she frantically paces back and forth

They tell her to think smaller and that Soryu would appreciate any gift

She takes a deep breath and nods as she thinks less outside the box

Remembers his love for omelettes, then races to the kitchen to make one

Fails a few times, but gets help from Baba

Finally a perfect omelette is made!

She waits for him to come home

Soryu walks in and sees his favorite dish and person

He walks up to her to kiss her cheek then enjoys his meal and her

Baba

What are you supposed to get a thief that can basically steal anything he wants?

Maybe a watch? He probably steals enough of those

Well he does love to cook

Maybe a cookbook? To the bookstore!

She finds one with recipes he can show the others in special occasions or just a simple dinner

When she gives it to him, he sheds a tear of joy

Best friends hug and look through the book together to see their favorite recipes

It’s already rewarding enough she’s being nice to him on his special day

But she still decides to give him a gift since Baba convinced her

What does this shithead like? Art? Dogs?

I guess some new brushes could work

She makes sure to research proper ones that are at its best quality

When she gives them to him, he’s terrified of her unexpected gift

A few days later, she finds a new piece of art in the penthouse labeled for her

It’s a faceless portrait of her, but the features are obvious of her identity

She keeps it in her room (but doesn’t say anything about it)

Mamoru

A lazy messy cop with no hobbies and sleeps a lot

What could possibly be fitting for him?

A Roomba perhaps to keep the mess at a minimum and prevent arguments

So that’s exactly what she gets

When she gives it to him, she has to program it for him since he doesn’t know how

They both cheer when it starts working

He names it “Jenn 2.0”

Jenn at first didn’t want this relationship to happen but Aurora begged her to stop being so overprotective

Summer. Days full of sunshine and fun activities.

And that’s what you planned to do.

You decided to have a beach day along with the bidders and your group.

(Changing to 3rd person POV)

It was a wonderful sunny day, and they were all sitting in the penthouse lobby with no activities to do.

“How did we all end up having nothing to do?” Baba says as he leaned his head back into the couch.

“No idea, but we NEED to do something right now or else I’m gonna lose my mind!” Ota says in a whiny tone, but everyone agreed with his statement.

“What better to do on a hot summer day than go to the beach?” Baba suggests with a cheerful smile.

Mamoru was smoking by the window, rolling his eyes at the whining between those two babies.

Soryu was reading his book as he was not interested in planning a whole day outside with these guys. Eisuke was also focused on reading his newspaper, equally as inattentive in the conversation.

A few seconds later, Jenn comes out of the elevator and joins the bidders by sitting next to Soryu. “Hey everyone! Why the sudden meeting?” She says after placing a kiss on Soryu’s cheek.

“We just happened to be together by coincidence.” Soryu says with an annoyed sigh.

“We have nothing to do, Jenny! Please save us from our boredom!” Baba pleads with puppy eyes, which causes you to giggle softly.

She then stands up and places her hands together. “Well you’re in luck, because my friend and sisters have actually offered to have a beach day! I am here to invite you all!” After making that statement, everyone moves their eyes towards her as if she had saved the world.

“Your friend and sisters?! As in Gia, Rosalina, AND Aurora?” Ota asks as he looks towards Eisuke for his reaction. Jenn nods enthusiastically and Eisuke tries his best not to seem happy, further burying his face into his newspaper.

Ota noticing the reaction and feeling mischievous, he decides to tease Eisuke. “You hear that Eisuke? Aurora is gonna be there~” Eisuke clears his throat and looks up with a glare.

“Yes, I heard. And what does it have to do with me?” He scoffs and looks away with a small blush.

Fortunately, Jenn was busy looking at Soryu to see if he would agree. He looked hesitant, but seeing his partner’s face made him nod lightly. She beams and starts jumping up and down.

“Alright guys! I’ll meet up with you all here after packing my things!” She says happily and hurries along with Soryu following behind.

Since the bidders decided to join in, they had to travel in luxury vehicles provided by the King himself. They were separated into two groups: first group was Eisuke, Soryu, Jenn, Ota, and Aurora along with second group including Baba, MC, Gia, Rosalina, Mamoru. (Yes, for plot purposes.)

The second group was having fun, with Baba driving and Gia being in the passenger being the aux player. Rosalina was discussing her new projects with MC, while Mamoru was taking a quick nap.

“MC, I feel like you’d be the perfect model for one of my outfits!”

“No way.. I’m too shy to do that stuff..”

“How about I let you keep it afterwards then?”

“I’d be honored!”

In the first group, Soryu decided to drive while Jenn sat in the passenger side. In the second row was Eisuke and Aurora with Ota in the middle. He looked at both of them mischievously, then faced Aurora.

“Are you excited to go to the beach?” He asks in an innocent tone.

She nods happily. “Of course! I can’t wait to see the beautiful ocean and maybe even find a starfish!”

Eisuke looks out the window with a slightly irritated expression. He initially planned to have Aurora sit in the middle, but Ota had chosen that spot much to his dismay.

He steals a quick glance to Aurora and sees her smiling. Immediately turning red, he tilts his head back to the window, hoping the trip will be short.

As they approached the private beach provided by the billionaire due to concerns of privacy, everyone got their things out and started setting up for their fun day.

Jenn offered to put sunscreen on Soryu, who smiled gently at the request and allowed it. Teasing her about wanting to touch his body, she pouts and pokes him in the forehead.

Mamoru sat on his chair and opened a can of beer to sip on. Baba helped Rosalina with her sunscreen, admiring her red hair in the meantime.

Ota saw this as another opportunity to tease Eisuke, and grabbed the extra sunscreen as he headed towards Aurora who was standing in front of the ocean shore.

“Hey Aurora! Want me to help you with sunscreen?” He said loud enough for Eisuke to hear. She looked shocked at the sudden request and looked away for a second before nodding lightly.

Eisuke was enraged by this, but obviously he didn’t wanna admit jealousy since he hadn’t made a move yet. He decided today would be the day. His fist clenched, but he went and sat in his own chair calmly and stared out to the ocean.

Baba had seen everything, and so did Jenn. Giving each other a look, they nodded to each other to help Eisuke secretly in order to get them together.

“Jenn, why did YOU want to come to the beach anyways?”

She turns to Soryu who had asked the unexpected question.

“Well, me and Gia love to play a certain sport.” She replies proudly.

He tilts his head slightly, and Jenn turns over to Gia who already had the ball ready.

“Who wants to play volleyball?” Gia asks out loud as everyone turns towards her.

Everyone except Mamoru and Rosalina agreed to play. The teams were split into 4: Jenn, Soryu, Ota and MC against Gia, Aurora, Eisuke and Baba.

Gia throws the ball into the air and Jenn instantly bumps it back to the other side. Baba races over to toss it back, and Soryu hits it yet again to the other side.

After the teams were tied, they decided to play one more round. Jenn served the ball, which Aurora bumps. Ota spikes it harshly, and Aurora slides down and winces in pain.

“Aurora! Are you okay?” Eisuke immediately goes to her side. Her face was red from the impact of the ball, which Ota then started quickly apologizing for.

Eisuke gave him a quick glare then helped her up and walked her to his chair. Placing her down gently, he inspected her ankle. Jenn appeared behind them with an ice pack.

Aurora takes it and places it on her cheek. Ota rushes over and continues apologizing.

“I’m so so so so sorry! I didn’t think you were gonna do that!” Eisuke gives him a cold look, but Aurora smiles gently.

“It’s okay Ota, it’s not your fault. That was dumb of me to do.” She giggles softly, which causes Eisuke to blush lightly.

Jenn notices, and she gets an idea instantly. “Hey Eisuke, can you take care of my clumsy sister? We’ll start grilling some food in the meantime.”

He nods hesitantly, and Jenn rushes everyone away from them two. Aurora smiles at him then tilts her head towards the ocean.

“Sorry about this.. I didn’t mean to take you away from the fun.” She says softly.

“You actually did the opposite. I don’t know how much longer I can last with these guys.” Eisuke sighs, which causes Aurora to laugh loudly.

“I can say the same with my sisters. They’re too overprotective of me and never leave me alone with a guy.” Her eyes widen in realization and turns back to Eisuke then glances at the group.

They weren’t that far off, but they were far enough to be unable to hear their conversation. Jenn and Baba kept sneaking glances over, trying to see if their plan was working.

Eisuke looks between her and where she was looking, until he also realized what had just happened. Now was his chance.

He grabbed her hands gently, and looked deeply in her eyes. Taking a deep breath, he asked, “Will you be my girlfriend?”

Unexpectedly, Aurora rolled her eyes and smirked. “Finally, you asked! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this?” She leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips.

Surprised by the sudden action, he hesitated before kissing back and placing his hands on her face. After a moment, they heard clapping and pulled away instantly. The whole group was applauding at their special moment.

Eisuke looked at them then her. She stood up and grabbed his hand to lead him back to them. “How did you guys not end up mad?” He asked concerned that this was a joke.

“I had to convince them. Even Soryu had to convince Jenn.” He looked at Jenn, who shrugged and looked away sheepishly.

“I personally had no problem with you, but it was just hard to see my little sister grow up so fast.” Rose says with a slight huff. “But I guess the chemistry was clear to us.. and we couldn’t stop it from happening.”

Aurora and Eisuke looked at each other and smile in sync. They had finally realized their feelings for each other thanks to everyone else.

The entire group went to doing their own things in their own little gatherings, one including just Aurora and Eisuke. They walked around the ocean shore looking at the sand in the water. Eisuke finds a shell and gives it to Aurora, who happily accepts it.

“It’s no starfish, but it’s a reminder of this day forever.” He says with a gentle smile. She returns it, then places it in her pocket. They hear a loud splash, and turn to see Ota who was pushed into the water.

“Heyy what was that for?” Ota whined as he got back up. Jenn, who had been the criminal for the act, places her hand on her hips before responding, “For trying to ruin our plan!”

Everyone eventually joins in entering the ocean water, continuing their summer beach day.

Recap:

“Um.. Soryu?” I break the silence by speaking softly. “Hm?” He nods at me in acknowledgment. “I don’t think you’ve officially asked me to be your girlfriend?” He thinks for a bit before having the sudden realization that it was true.

Out of nowhere, he grabs one of my hands with his and looks into my eyes. “MC, will you be my girlfriend?” I look at his gentle eyes, the ones that are always towards me, and in that moment I knew my response. “Soryu, I would love to be your girlfriend.” We sealed our confession with a gentle kiss, and with that came the end of our long day.

Our love had only grown in a few days within meeting, and it felt like it was never going to stop flowing within us.

The next day I woke up forgetting where I am, until I saw the beautiful sleeping face that was now officially my boyfriend.

I smile in delight, knowing that I found another reason to be happy. While softly caressing his hair, I place a soft kiss on his forehead.

As I pull back, I feel his face nudge into my hand. I blush slightly, but not until he kisses my hand and lips do I turn into a flustered mess. He chuckles softly, and then looks up at Finn.

“I guess I know why I was chosen by him.” I look up at Finn who was wagging his tail happily. “He was sure you’d be the one for me, along with him too.” We looked at each other and then once again cuddled.

“So when are we planning to get up?” I mumble into his chest.

“No clue.” He says as he squeezes me gently and sighs loudly.

“Soryu, come on, I have work to do..” I say as I try to free myself from his grip. Despite my attempts, he just holds me closer as he remains with his eyes closed, and smiling.

“Just a little longer?” He asks as he opens his eyes and gives me a pleading look. I pout and look at him annoyed.

“Don’t use two of your advantages on me!” I say and continue wiggling until I get tired of doing so. I sigh in defeat, and place my face once again on his chest. “Okay, you win.”

As we got ready for another day of productivity, I check in with the pet sitter who comes to pick up Finn. After they leave, me and Soryu have some breakfast together as we talk about what we have to do today.

“I have another rehearsal obviously, and then afterwards I should be free for anything else.” I say as I take a sip of my coffee. “Can you come over to my headquarters then? There’s something I would like to show you. I promise no scary people will be there again.” He says placing his hand on top of mine and looking at me pleadingly.

I hesitate in answering, remembering the terror of that day. But looking into his eyes, I saw how adorable it was that he was literally begging me to say yes. How could I refuse my pouting boyfriend? I smile and nod slightly. “I trust you, Soryu.”

His face lights up at hearing this and squeezes my hand gently.

We’re at the stage where the event will take place, and everything looked perfect for tomorrow. I look through my outfits and shoes, making sure I had them in perfect quality.

Soryu walks in with the guys, who all seemed happy to see me.

“MC! I’m so proud of you, you’ve come so far!” Baba says as he comes up to hug me tightly. I smile and hug him back in the same enthusiastic way. He pulls away and then Ota is next to congratulate me.

“I’m honored to have helped you.” He gives me an angelic smile and hugs me as well. Next was Mamoru, who gave me a pat on the head.

Mr. Ichinomiya shakes my hand firmly, but gives me a small smile. “I knew you were the right one for the event.” I thank him, as well as the rest once again. I felt so empowered by their words that I silently promised to perform the best show ever.

After rehearsing, me and Soryu head to his headquarters where I see much more security than usual. I look to Soryu, who had his arm around my shoulders protectively.

“Soryu, what’s with the high level of protection?”

“Last time we had an unexpected attack, and since you’re here too I am making sure you don’t get hurt like you almost did last time.. It was all because I was careless..” He looks down appearing to be disappointed in himself.

I grab his hand and squeeze it tightly. “Could it be even possible to have a boyfriend as caring as you?” He gives a sheepish smile as he blushes and then leads me inside quickly to avoid being seen by his henchmen.

Inside, I see the usual routine of the group going back and forth with their own tasks. I see Inui, who looks up at us and his face lightens up at the sight of our presence. “Miss MC! Boss! It’s great to see you both on this lovely day!” I smile at his enthusiasm and Soryu merely stays in his neutral expression.

“It’s nice to see you too, Inui.” Soryu nods, and Inui starts feeling giddy. “I’m glad to see you back here! I promise I’ll let no one lay hands on our princess!” He says with a determined look and goes off in another direction.

“So what are we doing here?” I look at Soryu and he turns to me with a smile.

“Give them a second.” He looks ahead of him and I turn to the same direction.

I see the members all gather around together, with Inui and Samejima walking up to me holding a gift box. I take it and open it gently. Inside was a simple pistol, along with some ammo. My eyes widen in surprise, but I look up and see the smiling faces on each member. Knowing their kind intentions, I give a wide smile and bow as a thank you.

“Thank you everyone. I’ll be sure to treasure this dearly.” I close the box and Soryu sets it aside somewhere else.

The rest of the evening is filled with a dinner gathering, where I soon learn that there’s more to them than meets the eye, and their gang isn’t so bad after all.

We head back to the hotel where I pick up Finn and then head back with Soryu to his room. He opens the door and lets us in first. I place my pup on ground so he could go explore around. As I turn around, I see Soryu already behind me, smiling.

"What are you so happy about?" I ask smugly.

He chuckles and wraps a hand around my waist. I blush and look away, but he grabs my chin and tilts it towards him. "I was admiring how beautiful you are." I blush even more at his response, however, he makes a devilish face, as if thinking of taking this opportunity to tease me more.

He moves his face towards my neck, softly blowing on it. I shiver slightly, and then he places his lips on me, placing soft kisses all around. I close my eyes in embarrassment, feeling him smirk against my skin. Moving up towards my face, he places his lips right next to my ear, as I hear some unexpected words.

"I want you all to myself tonight.." He whispers softly, and pulls back to look into my eyes, as if requesting my answer. I ponder for bit, before nodding slowly.

On cue, he takes my hand and leads me to the bedroom. As we go in, he lays me down on the bed. Placing his lips on mine, I wrap my arms around his neck. He holds my face closely, as to deepen the kiss. I was feeling overwhelmed, but I was also enjoying seeing this side of him.

He plunges his tongue into my mouth, causing me to moan. I feel his hands taking off my clothes. I blush again, and put my arms around my chest. He pulls away for second, and pins my hands with his.

"Don't hide, you're beautiful." He says with a look of lust and adoration in his eyes. I smile a little at his words, but then pout at the realization that he was still fully clothed.

"What about you? You still have everything on still." He looks down at himself, and laughs softly.

"You`re right.. do you want to help me?" He says with a grin. I hesitate for a moment, but I agree and sit up to reach him. I slide off his jacket, then reach for the top button of his shirt, unbuttoning one by one. I felt my face red, but I didn't care enough to feel embarrassed. I was already too in the moment, and I wanted to go even further.

As I unbutton the last one, I take a quick look at his muscular body. Unconsciously, I bite my lip slightly and observe every detail of it. He notices, and slides off his shirt in a teasing manner. I fake glare at him, and decide to get him back by tracing his chest. He blushes intensely, and covers his face.

Feeling bolder, I reach for his belt but then he stops me immediately and pins me back down. "Not yet, princess.. I'm gonna have a taste of you first.."

The night continued on with a lot of love and passion, and that's how the bond we created blossomed to a higher level.
