This is something I've only had to think about because I'm still working on that story I promised I'd release like last year lmao

It's hard to say whose the "best" KBTBB MC because every story's over-arching plot is decently written. In terms of growth, I can definitely see the MC bring it out of Eisuke, Soryu and Ota the most in each of their respective routes.

But if we're talking personality, Mamoru's MC is the strongest shortly followed by Hikaru's MC. I'd even say Rhion's MC is a high contender! Even though their circumstances aren't realistic, their initial response to it is so I really hope I do them right.

Shuichi's MC is is just "eh," but I want her to be better than "eh" because their child is absolutely gorgeous.

You can enjoy otome games even if you’re committed to your partner. It’s no different than wanting to see a romcom with so-and-so actors/actresses. You’re not cheating because the characters aren’t real and can’t do anything to change your very real relationship with a very real person.
