I think they would make a perfect duo of Party Planners (Geoff for the creative side and Courtney for the practical planning)!

• courtney grew up with parents who barely showed her any affection, let alone attention- and they most likely were always away on business trips. that or she has a single dad whom she is close with and she takes up jobs to help them both financially. she’s an only child.

• duncan’s dad is a police officer, and he acts like he despises duncan. i have a feeling duncan’s dad is abusive, and they get into arguments all the time- the reoccurring topic being that duncan always gets into trouble and his dad has to bail him out. duncan has a little sister, MAYBE an older one. he has a soft spot for his youngest sister and if he has an older one than she teases him and is old enough to be moved out. duncan’s mother doesn’t help much with the whole abuse thing, but she likes to think she does. she’s nice to him, but doesn’t show TOO much affection. i think his parents are divorced, and he has a stepsister (HEATHERRR!!!!!). either that or his parents both love him but his dad kinda despises him for being such a pain.

• dj’s a mama’s boy (canon), but he has a terrible relationship with his father. he always felt more a connected to his mom, and his dad always called him ‘a pussy’ or ‘too feminine/not manly enough’. his dad forces him to play football, because he was a ‘high-school legend’ and wishes for him to be like him, a bully. his parents are most-likely divorced or on the brink of it. only child.

• bridgette’s parents are probably the classic suburban family, along with her two little brothers. she is definitely the oldest, and her parents probably make her babysit them. not much trauma, but i feel like they show distaste towards her surfing career.

• geoff’s the youngest of 7, mixed genders and they’re all super different. i think the reason why he took a (platonic) liking to gwen was because his twin sister was quiet like her, and he probably invited her along to parties and stood up for her. geoff and his sister have a close relationship, esp because they have a pretty big age gap with their other siblings. geoff’s parents are probably like the courtney-duncan dynamic, which would explain why he likes shipping duncney so much and takes a liking to them.

Courtney plays so many instruments it’s crazy. She’s got her violin, guitar, voice, and most definitely knows how to play the piano.

Duncan is 100% a guitar player and also knows how to play the drums.

Bridgette might know how to play some wind instruments, it might not be perfect but it’s an A for effort lmao

Geoff doesn’t know how to play anything. I can literally see him asking to play with everyone’s instruments and it’s a hard no because they just know their things will get damaged. But to make him feel included they let him play the triangle and possible a kazoo— which quickly becomes annoying.

• They are from different schools so whenever they need help with homeworks or upcoming exams, they make study dates so everyone can teach everyone (but is mostly courtney teaching everyone)

• Duncan, Geoff and Dj are the BIGGEST gossips ladies of the group. They are on denial but whenever Courtney and Bridgette are talking about someone they immediately tries to eavesdrop

• Oh, Dj and Courtney are forcing everybody to do a spa time. Masks, treating nails, massage and exfoliation. Liking or not liking, they are doing it.

• Everybody knows about Duncan's and Courtney's parents strictness so when they need a backup kb5 immediately help them out

• I know they have distinct styles but Courtney and Bridgette share clothes sometimes. Mostly tops

• Everything happens on Geoff's house. Sleepover? his house. Hanging out? his house. Get high? his house. Hide from the cops? his house. Accidentally murdering your neighbor with a toothbrush and u desperately needs to hide the body? Also his house.

• Courtney is playing songs in her violin and Dj is rocking with his ballet moves

any headcannons for duncney/kb5 in highschool aus? im kinda a sucker for both of those guys sooo ;p
