Starting this July, @dylanandson and @kayjendylan will be closed on Wednesdays. Opening hours will remain unchanged (12-8pm weekdays, 12-5pm Saturdays). As always, we have no sales assistants in the shop, so kindly call/email before coming by. This will greatly help us in planning our work-flow. . The reason for this closure is because we are dedicating one full day per week to R&D. Matthew and myself are not really business-minded people, so simply becoming owners of a tailorshop is not our goal. Right from the start, we wanted to be competent cutters and hopefully be able to call ourselves a ‘tailor’ one day. This is a term that is widely abused and we do not want to use it loosely. . Over the past few years, we have been juggling the duties of fronting the shop and cutting for our clients, but it is increasingly difficult to find time for self-improvement. By closing the shop on Wednesdays, it will give us uninterrupted time to do that. Our team of in-house tailors will also use this opportunity to communicate and fine-tune our work processes, because #squadgoals. . Doing so might have a negative impact on our finances, since rental and salaries still need to be paid. But this is a sacrifice we are willing to make.
