Trying out the 100 day project. I’ll play it by ear, but I think I’ll try to do a 15-20 minute drawing a day, inspired by whatever song I’m listening to at the moment.

Someone asked her out
Yes the only anime I watch nowadays is Digimon Tri.
I always imagined Sora a little less girly and a little more boyish, and headstrong and cool and motherly, all at the same time you know?
A project I had done the previous summer and am thinking of revisiting (I originally wanted to make three more). These were based on the group my three of my close friends plus myself became during our sophomore year of college, that focused specifically on the topic of vulnerability and people’s access to vulnerability.
In addition, I went to the SF Art Book Fair tonight, not realizing that it was so fine arts related -- it was both a nice as well as jarring surprise.

I'm currently writing an essay on anime and collective consciousness and how perfect is Neon Genesis Evangelion. I gave Shinji some cooler shoes.
He’s the barista at The Coffee Pop, a local mom-n-pop coffee shop, biding his time working to save up to go to art college.
His design definitely isn’t as consistent as I would have liked it to be, but I’m still hashing it all out.
Fun fact: my brother currently is a barista at a local coffee shop that does pour overs.
Another fun fact: he is not based on my brother, but I am trying to draw from some realities that I do know.
Thumbnails on onion-man comic while reading Counterfeit Gods at a tea house when I have so much other stuff I need to do but I'm working on this. How this is turning out is making me very satisfied, but drawing these 40 pages by next week is gonna be bittersweet hell! Happy Wednesday, y'all.
