"Kat?What happene?"Zac looked at her, worried. She just came to him, without anything to say except that.

It was good that she had found him. After that...After seeing all these things the bandits did to the people in their camp. After seeing all the dull eyes of the boys and girls. It was a welcoming change. Even though she lost her group after a fight, she still had this sparkle in her eyes. To survive...to find people. Zac liked her right away. "I can stay up for a couple days" This was true..but not even the shine in her eyes were able to fool Zac.She was tired...she needed sleep. Kat also wanted to help him, he didn't object. Only because he didn't mind her company. In fact, it was good to have her around. The young student knew that it will be dangerous. Maybe even disappointing for him. He didn't give up.He knew Elisa was no damsel who was waiting for him...he was waiting for her. And Kat was no damsel either. She saved him from death once...and she would do it even more than that.... Kat didn't deserve to go back to her group.They were cowards. No matter how much of a friend they looked liked to her...they left the young woman alone. Alone when Kat mentioned what they did...he didn't agree with them at all...He just hoped to find his girl soon...so they could have a small group with Kat on their own. They were better than these students...they would never leave her like that...that's not what she desveres. With that...he can pay back... "You can come with us...it's better than them..." "No..it's okay Zac...I don't wanna trouble you even more..." No...she didn't understand...she wasn't troublesome at all to him. She was a welcoming change,a good partner in the apocalypse...almost..like a friend he always wanted to have. No...Zac didn't dare to call her friend. That would mean...being in mental pain if she dies. No...he didn't risk it...not again

Anming jumped when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned quickly, eyes wide, as she came face to face to the young woman. "F-friendly..." Anming mumbled, putting her hands up nervously. Her sister has disappeared suddenly, leaving Anming and her terrible English alone.

Finally. Finally he managed to get out of this fucking bandit camp. The young man was running like he never ran before, faster than he did in the Track and Field club in his middle school time. Faster than he ran when he got chased by wild fan girls. The blood was running down from his cheek as well, dripping down his chin and some drops were flying off because of the wind that was hitting his face constantly. The wound on his cheek was burning like hell and his legs felt sluggish. That was it...Zac had no power anymore.Luckly for him, he was finally out of the woods and looked at the orange tinted sky. Was it in the morning..or evening? After all this time, Zac seriously lost the sense of time. In front of him was a big road...the highway. A lot of car wracks...the smell of gasoline was in the air.It seemed pretty flameable Perhaps some useful things were in there as well...The boy examined some of the cars closely. While doing so, he almost got attacked by a trapped walker in a car, almost hit by a mini fridge that already smelled like rotten food and almost caused an explosion.It was not his day...that was for sure. But the first safe car he opened,had a first aid kit. "Lucky me...!",the young man smiled and opened it With his arm, he wiped away the blood that was still left on the wound and his face. Zac looked like he killed somebody...but..he had no time to think. Only bad thing was that he was just able to disinfect. it..nothing more. But for now, it was enough. In another car he found a jacket and a new shirt. In fact, the most embarrassing shirt he has even seen before. Zac held it up. There was a white cat with a top hat saying "Purrcus!"...oh shit...but it was better than this white, blood-stained shirt. And in case it got colder, he had the jacket.So it was okay. The only thing that was not okay for him was the stench...oil mixed with blood and rotten meat.A few times Zac felt like puking,but held back.As he decided to quickly dress behind the same car, he heard some noises. Loud noises. Argueing? Oh...LOUD argueing. Maybe a group? But the noises came closer and closer so that Zac just stopped the undressing and hid behind the car. What kind of people were they?

"I wonder when my dad is coming out of the room again...he is working and working all day...Mom cries at night because he never leaves the room. I'm concerned...will they divorce?"
