After his shift at the pools - he went back to his own villa in the Tulach House, only to change into his gym wear. He hadn’t seen his watcher but he figured that she was simply just busy. Really, he wasn’t going to go out of the way to check up on her especially since the last time they talked it didn’t go so well. No, they ended up in a screaming match. Therefore, he threw a small towel over his shoulder as he made his way to the gym. 

Setting up on a treadmill, he noticed a red-haired woman looking over in his general direction, but when he couldn’t see anyone else around - Hunter moved to face her. “I’m almost done if you want to use it?” 

Aoife laughed even harder at the expression on Katla’s face. “Not bad” she said. “Maybe furrow your brows a bit more if you can.” Then she shook her head. “I have the opposite problem. I find most people make me incredibly grumpy.” Especially here on the island, surrounded by people who oozed privilege from their pores. “If one more royal asks me for the good painkillers when they don’t actually need them, I’m going to start breaking fingers.” At leas then they would learn to appreciate the infirmary’s supplies were for medical use, not recreational ones. She shrugged at the redhead’s words. “I’ve been spending most of my time in my office, sorting through paperwork” she said. It was a pathetic answer, but Aoife enjoyed making sure everything was organized to her liking.

    After gathering a few things from the warehouse he believed will help both him and Katla remain safe from the storm, he quickly made his way back to the West Villas. Putting a mental note at the back of his mind to text Isak later on to see if he’s okay. Though he was more so certain that he’d be with Ingrid during a...crisis such as Calix. Which he’d be doing the same thing if his betrothal was on the island as well - however, she isn’t which is why he’s just staying with Katla. After all he still enjoys her company, least he knew he wouldn’t be bored. 

    “Katla - hey! Are you home?” Hunter called out as he walked passed the door frame, closing and locking the door behind him. This wasn’t his first time being in the storm but he still couldn’t get used to the chill and underline on edge nerves that filled his entire body. Being inside the villa - the chill left but the nerves still were raised.      Once everything that was in his hands was neatly placed on top of a nearby table he went around the villa to look for his...roommate.

The past few weeks have been described as incredible to Gabor, he’s never felt more like himself than he did now. Now he was laughing and joking with some fellow pirates around the bar, at least until he noticed his fellow shipmate hurled over. Almost instinctively, he put his beer bottle down and rushed over to her side. Hand affirmative in the middle of her back as the other was on her bicep to keep her upright. Katla didn’t need to admit it, but when she did it was like a cause to spring into action. Lifting her arm around his neck he carefully picked her up. Gabe used to hurl barrels of hay and carry 32 pounds of oats across a 2-acre plot of land with ease. Picking and carrying Katla was practically nothing. 

Besides the point...

Not having a key to her villa, he just decided it would be best to take her to his, kicking the door open once he was unlocked, he placed her on the couch before he closed the door and grabbed her a bucket, in case she needed to hurl, a blanket and got some cold washcloths. Placing the bucket on the side of the couch he threw the blanket over her as he sat on the table in front of her as he softly pushes the cloth against her head. “Tell me if there is anything else I can get you.” 

Lorne smiled at Katla, happy to see one of his crewmates. “A compliment like that might go to my head” he teased her goodnaturedly. “A few more of them and I won’t be able to walk through the doorway to my villa.” He leaned against the wall casually. “So what are you in the mood for?” he asked her, hoping she wanted something easy to make.

There were new rules that went around the island, and he wasn’t about to complain considering now there was a phone in his hand. Sure, he couldn’t go on apps or make calls or whatever but he felt more...human with having a phone in his pocket able to message his friends if he wanted. To bad he can’t actually talk to his parents...damn he’d kill to talk to them again. For just an hour.  Having phones, however, wasn’t the only new thing. Katla had...claimed him and trust him he didn’t mind it much. That one long conversation helped him get a real feel for her and considering the only way to get something you wanted was through a pirate...he much preferred to be claimed than not. Though he was starting to debate petitioning Katla to do the same for his sister, not wanting her to fend for herself. Granted she wouldn’t - not with Hunter around, but he’d still feel better knowing she was close by. 

Ergo, with the rules and claiming settling in place - it was time to move into her villa. Plus with what happened at the coves, he wouldn’t mind living with some company. It couldn’t be too bad right? A lot has changed in just those few days. It wasn’t like he had a lot to pack, just a few pairs of clothes, toothbrush and paste, shoes and the engagement ring he still held onto when he was going to visit his betrothal. 

Knocking on the door before pushing his way in, “Katla, you home?” He called out. Feeling slightly weird to just walk in. 

It had taken some doing to get the time away from the island they needed to visit Iceland and even with the borderline startling coolness of the weather in comparison to the weather on the island there was still something about it that reminded Kieran of autumn in Ireland and that alone was enough to make him appreciate it that much more. His Icelandic still wasn’t quite perfect but he was getting to be well-spoken enough to carry on basic conversations without making a complete fool of himself— a well earned victory on that front presented itself in the form of the to-go cups of coffee in his hands as he trooped up the path that led to the small home they were staying in for the duration of their trip. 

He greeted Katla on the front porch with a slow kiss and grinned-- his posture straightening in time with the pride that was creeping into his expression, “Sæl elskan mín,” He greeted, his eyes bright with joy as he spoke. “I managed to order coffee without speaking a word of English and I think you’d have been very proud of me,” He informed her eagerly, passing one of the cups into Katla’s hands before he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed the top of her forehead gently. “I can see why you’ve missed home so much, baby,” He said after a long moment of quiet, his eyes flickering over the scenery with undisguised awe in the expression. “I’m glad I get to be part of you getting to see it again.”

It was an event where Devyn didn’t sign up for bar-tending, not that she didn’t enjoy it the last time - just this time she much preferred to just relax and have fun. After all, it’s been a while since the Australian First Mate actually let...loose. Really she just wanted to not worry about anything and this was the perfect time in doing so.  Perhaps it’s been too long since she drank more than just a few beers, seeing how her newfound friend approached her and pulled her to the side. Devyn scolded her though. 

“What?! No, I’m having way too much fun!” She responded. “Don’t be such a party pooper, Katla.”
