Hey I just wanted to say that I really admire your Mami cosplay! It's beautiful. ;A; I'm actually in the process of making one too, but it's the first cosplay I've sewn myself and was wondering if you had any tips for the skirt? I'm nervous about it
The skirt was probably the easiest part of the cosplay, not gonna lie. I dunno if you saw my FAQ for the costume itself, but basically what I did was make a basic circle skirt with an elastic waistband, then added another circle skirt of tulle with horsehair braid sewn on the hem to go underneath, which gives a nice amount of poof. My one suggestion would be to maybe add either more horsehair braid on the hem of the outer circle skirt as well OR add a sort of extra ruffle on the tulle underskirt to give it just a bit more volume.
