ELYSE CAN I WRITE A DISSERTATION ON WHY I LOVE YOU??

I think I started to follow you ages ago, right after I read that drabble about Clarke cooking too much pasta (something I still think is the most relatable thing I’ve ever read), and when you followed me back I thought I was dreaming and messaged you about it immediately, although I was completely terrified. And I’m so happy I did!

I love that you’re as petty as me and as passionate about defending the characters you love even if it means you may lose followers. I love how you always complain about writing but still write anyway because your writing is amazing and I never want you to stop. 

I love how you’re a loyal Slytherin like me, and how you forced yourself to take the long MBTI test because I kept asking that you would lol, and how we don’t have to agree on things to be friends. 

I love how supportive you are with my own writing, since it’s something I don’t do as much as I used to and it’s a painful topic, but somehow because of your support I sat down and wrote a thousand words in one sitting (a LOT for me). I love how you let me read your fics early because I’ll ALWAYS read them, I love them so much. 

I love how you vent about things to me and let me get annoyed with you at the people annoying you because you deserve much, much better. I love how you tell me about your nephew and all those personal little stories that make me wish we could meet up in real life and go get coffee or something and gossip about people because we’re both petty. 

I love how you come up with the best and cutest tags for characters (”baby heda” and “problematic space panda” for example), and how you were there with open arms when I finally got to the point where I could love Echo’s character. 

I love how you listen. And how we talk about the randomest things, and it never feels weird. I love how despite Tumblr’s best efforts (blocking each other from our accounts lol) we’re still friends. I love how you send me all those drunk messages and pics of you with puppies or with Luna, and I STILL THINK YOU SHOULD GET A DOG NEXT YEAR!!!

Laurie, I don’t remember at this point when I followed you, but it was because I saw you in the group chats quite a lot and you were absolutely lovely. What I love most about you is how attentive you are to your friends, you’re quite perceptive and the way you write your tags is just hilarious. You also have the randomest but also kind of amazing pics for BFSN? I’m a fan.

Div! I think you’re one of those people whom I thought I was following and was mutuals with for ages, but then I realised I wasn’t? I remember that I followed you because I was following a lot of the 100 blogs in a row, but then you followed me back, and I was like ?? She seems so cool and she’s following me back wth

And then I realised you’re as much a nerd as I am lol, and I love you so much! I couldn’t be happier that we’re friends. I think out of all people here on tumblr I speak to you the most, and I couldn’t stress enough how important you are to me. 

You’re my fic-reading buddy, I love it when we share good fics with each other, or when we read a fic at the same time and then discuss it. There’s nothing like that for me, and when I read anything I like, I feel like I have to share with you, otherwise my experience is incomplete.

I loved it when you and I went on a hunt for Grounder!Bellamy fics and then talked about the ones we read (I swear we could start a Bellarke fanfiction bookclub and it’d be amazing lol).

Also, I love how you always have the randomest stories to tell about your family (I love them from your stories already), and how you have an amazing relationship with your aunt, and that she shares your love for the 100. 

I also love how supportive you are, and that you got mad about my stupid ex when I said he called me a drama queen. I remember you said, “YOU ARE NOT A DRAMA QUEEN, YOU’RE JUST PASSIONATE, AND PASSIONATE PEOPLE ARE THE BEST KIND OF PEOPLE.” And I still remember that word for word because of how much it warmed my heart.

I love how you overreacted to meeting Bob because that’s probably how I would be reacting if I got to do that. I love how you’re non-confrontational but can speak up about things that are important to you. I love how you apologise too much, and how you’re polite and you said, “It’s a pleasure” when we just started talking. I love that I feel like I can come to you about anything, and you won’t judge, you’ll get mad about things with me. 

Love you, babe. Don’t do anything, don’t change, just stay my friend forever. <3
