"Parking Lot Tree"

I complimented the emotional tree

It said “leave me alone”

It was green with envy, and barked this statement

I was overwhelmed by it’s natural beauty

So I stared until I realized I was late to work

Life is hard for a tree in a parking lot

It only held my attention for merely a sliver of time

The tree was merely a space filler amongst cars

As I was people in a building

Cheers to my fears, they keep me on my toes

They leave goosebumps up my arms to my nose

You’re a lingering ghost in the corner of the room

My pale hands hold myself tight as if laying in my tomb

Whispers and confessions compress cold against my head

I grip my covers over my petite body to hide from the dead

Have I passed or am I troubled

My visions blurs into double 

I go into a deep sleep

Only to wake up to absurd

Daylight

The ceilings, everywhere I looked up the ceiling was decorated beautifully 

Sasha and Claudia, the two best french girls to live with. I can't wait to see them again

Art Galleries, I held a Dali clock... seriously. 

Smoking and sitting in cafes for hours 

FOOD! BREAD! CHEESE! WINE! all the time

The metro, 20 bucks a week to go where ever I want in the city

The Bars. Pirate bar :) Cocktails. drinking age is 18

Everyone is beautiful 

Laying in the grass in front of the Louvre

I fell in love with you when you looked into my eyes

Not sure what you were trying to find

Not sure if you felt what I did

Not sure if you liked what you saw

But I fell in love with you. What a fall. 

It’s hard to look into your eyes, they tease me. 

If we were kids again I’d trip you in the playground 

Just so you’d know how much it hurts to fall for you.
