Three years ago I asked my husband, the Director , @gcma_sc if we could start an annual flower show...well!.. here begins the week of preparation!.. I also tested the idea to @stephanierainey1122 Head of Development, @gcma_sc ...she jumped on board ..in between knee replacement , my business , the museum calendar and other big museum fund raisers it has taken this long to get it accomplished along with bumping into @katelynpinnerstudio , @traderjoes talking about Greenville having a flower show the time is just about here!.. another stellar event for @gcma_sc and @yeah_that_greenville ...20 floral arrangements , from local flower growers , florists and designers will be on view interpreting paintings from the Museum’s permanent collection , with a Preview Party Friday night and free, as always, open to the public Saturday and Sunday ...check out the museum’s website for more detailed info on tickets, an Ikebana demonstration, bouquets to go class and much more!...so many terrific and talented people have worked so hard to make this happen, especially the museum staff ...always so involved and incredible ...they are a small but mighty group! #deborahgibsondesign #gcma_sc #yeahthatgreenville #katelynpinnerstudio #flowershow (at Greenville County Museum of Art)
