As it seems the main storyline in the Kate Daniels series has concluded, I now get to indulge in the various side storys and novellas. First on the list is Gunmetal Magic. • This book follows Andrea Nash and takes place between books 5 and 6. The included short story, Magic Gifts, features follows Kate in a story that runs at the exact same time as Andrea's story. It also brilliantly features a crossover scene in both stories highlighting perspective of each woman. It seems like forever since I posted about a book. I was forced to take a bit of time off of working out and ease back into it because of my muscle tear. This means it took me longer to read Magic Triumphs. I am not even mad. This was the most exciting and action packed book yet and being forced to read it slower gave me a chance to enjoy it. • It marks what seems to be an end to the "Kate Daniels" story line and wow.
