The anger in the room was too much. There was so much anxiety in the building and she was anxious herself anyway. When things got heated, she just couldn’t take it anymore, so she slipped out while the two werewolves were busy with each other. Isaac had ended up telling her to stay but she figured maybe she could find a closet or something and just hide in there with light fingers ready. Taking a deep breath, she ran. 

“Kate? I know you’re in here,” Scott said, walking through the sewers. He could smell her from a mile away. She was close but how close? Scott was nervous and knew what he was doing was stupid, but he masked it so Kate wouldn’t know. What he needed was for her to focus on him and not everyone else. He didn’t care if he got hurt and knew it was most likely going to happen. He might not even make it back, but Scott was willing to protect his friends at all costs. “I know you did something to Isaac, and I’m going to find out what it was.”
